Candle Colour Dye Blocks

Candle Dye Block – Magenta, Forest Green or Lime green.

Each Dye Block measures 5 cm x 3 cm.  (  One block has 2 segments ) Highly concentrated vegetable based dye block suitable for soy, paraffin and palm waxes. Low mess easy to use, dye blocks are great for the craft candle maker.

By grating a dye block into shavings you will find it easier to add a small amount at a time to melted wax,  recommend adding dye after you have added your fragrance. Drop some wax onto a white surface (such as a white plate) to test the density of the colour. Keep adding dye until the desired colour is reached.

One Dye Block measures 5 cm x 3cm and will colour up to 3 kg of wax to a medium shade. For darker colours , add more & less for lighter. Different dyes can be mixed to create your own shades.
Adding dye to your recipe can affect a candle, especially the wick size, so testing is required.

Add a UV colour inhibitor if your candle is to be exposed to sunlight or harsh lighting.
