Caramel Toffee Lipsafe Flavour Oil

A delicious lip smacking flavour to add to your lip balms. Its a characteristic fragrance of a rich, buttery, sweet, gooey caramel .

Lip Safe Fragrances in themselves, will not taste as the name implies until they have been sweetened. Add any degree of sweetness – such as Lip Smacking
Sweetener oil, and as you inhale the fragrance on the lips this tricks the brain into thinking its ‘tasting’ the flavour. Strange but true!

Usage amount:  Use at 1 to 10% of the total weight of lip balm or lipstick. This oil doesn’t add a flavour on its own, this occurs when you add a dash of sweetness. To sweeten your balm, add up to 5% Sweet Lips ( Lip balm Sweetener) .

We always recommend adding some sweetness to Lip Balms as taste is associated with scent however please keep in mind the more flavour and sweetener is added the softer the final product will be therefore we recommend experimenting within this range starting at the lower end.

TIP:  Let your lip balm cool to around 60°C – 63°C (140 to 145°F) before pouring so the sweetener suspends evenly.  Stir intermittently during pouring.
