Our Castile Liquid Soap is a traditional, natural soap made right here in New Zealand using a simple blend of olive oil, coconut oil, filtered water, glycerin, and citric acid. Golden yellow in colour, much like liquid honey – this unscented base is perfect for customising with your favourite essential oils or fragrance oils.
Use it as-is as a gentle hand wash, body wash, or natural cleanser, or personalise it to suit your skincare or home needs. It can be thickened with salt (though this may not always remain stable), or more reliably with Hydroxyethyl Cellulose to achieve a gel-like consistency.

Liquid Castile can be used as is or scented with the addition of Essential or Fragrance Oils.
Can be thickened with salt, however this does not always produce a stable product. If you are wanting a thicker gel like consistency, it is best thickened by the addition of Hydroxyethyl cellulose.
⚠️ Important: Do not mix with vinegar — it will separate the soap back into oil and water.
