Active components of Green Tea: Green tea is rich in Epigallocatechin Gallate which has been found to help the skin withstand
UV radiation. In scientific trials the suncare properties of Green Tea were found to be stronger when the extract was applied topically rather
than ingested (via tea). The green tea powder from which we make our extract has been tested and found to have an concentration of ECGC in
the region of 40-50% which is much higher than ingestible green tea powder or leaf.
Cautions: Be aware that the green tea extract will react with UV light to oxidise so it is best to pack your Green Tea containing
cosmetics into dark UV blocking packaging.
