Product information: Leaves picked from a Kawakawa bush traditionally used topically for many conditions including, bruises, rheumatism, dry – irritated skin or cuts and infections. Kawakawa leaves contain two key volatile oils, Myristicin and Elemicin which have been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties.
Infusing Kawakawa leaves in Sweet Almond oil, draws out these soluble constituents and this resulting infused oil can be easily added into your formulations.
Ingredients: Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus Amygdalis Dulcsis) and Kawakawa (Macropiper) excelsum 10:1
Suggested Uses
Creams, Balms, Ointments and Salves. May be useful for irritated skin.
