Ingredients: Water, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate
Origin: Fermented from lactic acid bacteria Leuconostoc Kimichii. Suitable for natural and organic cosmetics.
Leucidal is almost odourless and is able to preserve a product by acidifying its environment and through the production of a peptide that it produces
as a defence mechanism.
Microbial Action: Broad Spectrum protection but may require a secondary preservative in challenging products such as those with clays,
exfoliant particles or herbal extracts. We recommend Preservative Efficacy Testing before commercialising your product.
Use Levels: 2-4%
Addition Instructions: This has poor heat stability, so we recommend adding when the product has cooled to 50°C or
less. Effective in a pH range of 3-8.
Please note: If used within the specified shelf life, it will not affect the preservative efficacy in a product.
